Road To Madness

BAD NEWS!!! Chris DeGarmo had decided to depart. BAD NEWS!!!

Why Chris?

OK, folks. I don't mean to make a Queensryche Home Page. I only want to express my ... If you think it's not enough then click here and visit their official home page.

If you are still reading than you want to know how I feel about this GREAT band. Thank you!

So, Queensryche has been my favorite band for almost 5 years ( sorry, but late is better than never). I still remember when a friend of mine gave me 'Operation: Mindcrime' ( god bless him ). Can you imagine I listened to that album three months trice a day. For three months I could only listen to that titanic album. WOW! Than I heard 'Rage For Order', but couldn't understand it, because I expected something pre-Operation: Mindcrime. Then one by one I heard all the other albums and Queensryche became my favorite band. 'Promised Land' came out, but it was too complex for me. I couldn't get the message. Years passed I heard some other progressive bands and found out that this is the greatest music of all times. Then I listened to 'Promised Land' again and again read the lyrics and finally understood - this is the best album I ever heard. The song 'Promised Land' gives me the creeps and 'Someone Else?' is my anthem. These are my favorite songs. What can I say about 'Hear In The Now Frontier'? Well, it's not as good as 'Promised Land' but I like it. For me it sounds quite alternative, but it's very professional. Now the new album is coming. I got used to this 3-years-pause between the albums and I don't know what to think. As I read it will sound heavier, but we'll see.

Here are my top ten songs:

  1. Someone Else?
  2. Promised Land
  3. Road To Madness
  4. Bridge
  5. Sp00l
  6. No Sanctuary
  7. Saved
  8. Operation: Mindcrime ( it's an album, I can't separate the songs )
  9. The Lady Wore Black
  10. Dream In Infrared

I can write all these songs after No. 1, but it's top ten.
